Yogurt & Honey Face Mask
If probiotics are present in beauty products, it is guaranteed to give you resilient and brighter skin. Here, we combine two natural ingredients rich in probiotic, Greek yogurt and honey. Mix two portions of Greek yogurt and one portion of honey in a bowl and apply it on your face. Sit back and relax for 12-15 minutes for the magic to work. Wash your face using warm water to unveil healthier and brighter skin.
Don’t let your pumpkins rot! Let’s make a puree that will help your face glow. Cut the fleshy part of the pumpkin without the seeds and boil it. Now put it in a blender to get a smooth puree. Then, mix two teaspoons of the pumpkin puree a half teaspoon of milk and a half teaspoon of honey. Apply to your face and let it dry for 18-20 minutes. When done, wash with warm water. The outcome will be smooth and glowing skin.
Black Tea and Mint Hair Rinse
The tea and mint combination makes it an ideal home remedy for oily scalp and hair. These two ingredients contain properties that can make the strands stronger and smoother. This can also help you fight the summer heat as mint cools the scalp and prevents infection and rashes. Chop a handful of mint leaves and add them to 2 cups of boiling water. When the water becomes half, strain the remaining liquid. Keep it aside and steep the black tea leaves for 6-7 minutes. Once it becomes a strong blackish liquid, strain it and mix it with the mint water. Now use this mixture to rinse your hair to keep it fresh and smooth and frizz free.
‘Egglive’ Hair Moisturizer
This easy to make hair treatment is a sure to help your hair. Mix 5-6 tablespoons of olive oil with 2 eggs in a bowl. Apply it to your scalp and hair. Massage the mixture on your scalp for 4 minutes, when done cover your hair with a shower cap for 18-20 minutes. When done, rinse it out. You want to make sure the protein from the eggs and fatty acids from the olive oil had enough time to penetrate into the hair strands. This egg hair treatment will give you robust and shiny hair. If you do not like the smell of olive oil, coconut oil can be used a substitute.
The Sugar Scrub
Brown sugar is an excellent foundation for a scrub and can be used in many organic DIY combinations. This recipe can transform your skin into its smoother self. Mix 2 portions of milk with 1 portion of brown sugar and half a teaspoon vanilla extract. While in your tub or shower use the mixture to scrub gently in small circles. Do this for the whole body and rinse afterward. If you want more moisturization, add an egg yolk to the mixture.
