“Talking Trash with Tom Szaky”

Feeling lazy on this damp, gray Monday? Get comfortable and relax, but don’t let this day go to waste! Instead, enlighten yourself on the topic of…waste. Summer Rayne Oakes, an environmental renaissance woman and someone we have the utmost admiration for, features a video series on her site where she interviews social entrepreneurs, pioneers in sustainability, and other inspirational individuals and causes. Through these conversations she offers viewers a well-rounded take on what it means to improve the quality of life, both for others and ourselves.

Here, Summer interviews a college dropout turned “waste entrepreneur,” who today “runs an international business collecting 150 different types of waste in 23 countries.”
